Brethren and Friends of Redwood Lodge,
I would first like to thank the Past Masters and all brethren of Redwood Lodge for this opportunity to serve Redwood Lodge in this capacity. I am honored, proud and excited to be in the East. I hope to carry on many of the great traditions of Redwood’s historical past and bring new ones into the future. I can only hope I do as good of a job as the Masters that have come before me. I want to thank and congratulate all of my officers. With their indispensable support and dedication, Redwood is in great shape for this year and the future ahead. They never cease to show their enthusiasm and love for the Craft. Thank you, my brothers.
I spoke at the annual in regards to increasing fellowship and brotherly love of the lodge. Also, to focus on the camaraderie and unity that binds us together as brothers. I am excited to start my term and look forward to the future of the lodge. At this month’s meeting, we will be enlightened by Robert Davis from ‘The Farm RI’ -(located in Chepachet, R.I.). Mr. Davis will be presenting a hobby of his; the art of beekeeping. The beehive has quite a symbolic meaning in Freemasonry. It represents a group working together at one task, at one time and also as ‘Industry’. Please join us for an enjoyable evening in Lodge.
A few changes have been implemented at this month's meeting. The most apparent being with dinner reservations. If reservations are made by the rsvp date, you will be rewarded with a free raffle ticket for a chance at a donated prize that night. (Additional tickets will also be available for purchase that evening) The raffle will not only benefit Redwood Lodge, but will assist “Children’s Wishes” a charity we will be focusing on this year.
I look forward to seeing you in Lodge
Kind Fraternal Regards,
W:. Matt Yaffe
