I hope this summer has been an enjoyable and restful season. The annual picnic was a great day of excellent food and brotherhood for Redwood members, friends and family, despite the mixed weather! Thank you to all who assisted and attended.
We have a busy fall planned for Redwood Lodge. September's meeting "Redwood Homecoming" will be a time for all members, those who have taken time away from Lodge, to come and see what Redwood is doing and meet some of our new brothers. Dinner will be catered by Cozy Caterers and will include roast chicken, bacon wrapped meatloaf, oven roasted potatoes, acorn squash, honey glazed carrots and hearth-baked dinner rolls. All brothers who have been members of Redwood for 25 years or more will dine for free in September.
W:. Victor Dias of Noquochoke Lodge will present the evening's program, "Rusty Nail Degree". There will also be a refresher on the forms, procedures and ceremonies of Lodge.
Lastly, the Redwood Challenge Coin will be unveiled at the September meeting. All in attendance will receive one! Beginning in October, the challenge coins will be available for purchase at each monthly meeting.
